Possible crops for images - Be BOLD if you like it, it works.

Frequently asked questions.

1. How much can I crop the image?

The answer is it varies the larger the original image the more you can crop. Image sizes are displayed under the Information button show on each individual image. It will say something like 5000 x 4000, this is the number of pixels in the image and depending on the size you want to print you need between 100 and 240 pixels per inch. So, the 5000 x 4000 pixels will print up to 50" x 40" at 100 pixels per inch and you would expect to view this from a minimum of about 6 ft away. If you want to print an 8" x 10" image you would want to use the 240 pixels per inch hence you would need 1920 x 2400 pixels. Viewing would be from about 1 ft and beyond. Any problems please contact me.

2. Will all images print on canvas?

No not all images will work on canvas primarily because the interest of the image is too close to the edge and will be lost in the wrap. If you find an Image like this, please contact me and I will investigate if anything can be done to accommodate your design. See image 5 or 6 for acceptable composition. Image 8 won’t work. The subject is too close to the edge of the image, this will not allow for the wrapping of the canvas. Also, you will be losing about 2" of image on all sides so if you have the 5000 x 4000 image you will only get 46" x 36" max print. and for an 8" x 10" print at 240 pixels you will need 2880 x 3360 when you allow for the wrap.

BOTH ARE A LITTLE CONFUSING SO PLEASE ASK IF NEEDED. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
